When do I need to order my Wedding Dress?

Your wedding dress can take up to 4-5months to arrive in store. Some designers do have shorter lead times depending on the time of year so it is always worth checking if you do not have this amount of time.
Bridesmaids/Flowergirls usually take up to 3-4months to arrive. Again it is always worth checking if you need them sooner.
Alternatively most designers do a rush delivery but this service is an extra cost.

How do I know which size to order?

Once you have chosen your dress you need to be measured to find out which size is needed as sizes can vary between the different designers. Please note that garments are not made to measure this is just to find out which size is best for you.
Petite and longer lengths are available but can be an extra charge.
You may need to have alterations carried out on your dress to create the perfect fit.We have a qualified seamstress to carry out any alterations that you may need, however they are an additional cost. Alterations are usually carried out 2-3months before your wedding and you must have your underwear and shoes ready for your first fitting.

How do I order my Wedding/Bridesmaid dress?

A 50% deposit is needed when ordering any item in store. Alternatively we can work out a payment plan to make payments easier.
Please note that deposits are non refundable so you must make sure you are certain before ordering.

What happens once my dress arrives?

Once your dress arrives we contact you to let you know of its arrival and arrange an appointment for you to come and try it. We then store it in the store room up until your wedding day this service is free of charge. Please note that all outstanding balances must be settled once we notify you of its arrival.

When do I collect my dress?

We arrange with you when is best for you to collect. Most brides collect 1-2 days before their wedding as they do not have the space to store it. All garments are pressed and placed in garment bags for easy transportation.

How do I transport my dress if I’m getting married abroad?

You need to check with your airline to find out what luggage allowance you have. Most brides prefer to take their dress on as hand luggage so that they can keep an eye on it. We sell travel boxes which are especially designed to the airlines requirements and are suitable to store your dress in after your wedding.

What is the best way to store my dress after my wedding?

To ensure that your dress is kept in the best possible condition it is best to store it in an acid free box to save any discolouration.
